Their technician Emil stands out for being thorough and detailed oriented ensuring each vehicle is carefully inspected and maintained. That kind of service goes a long way for us knowing that our vehicles are getting the inspection and service needed. I took my bmw x3 for a diagnostic test to see why my car was having a coolant leak, was told it was the upper radiator hose, after paying 2300 dollars in January for repair my car by March would not even retain any cooliant it would go straight to the ground whereas initially it was a slow leak. When I took it back they say it another leak and I need to pay more money, when I asked for before and after pics to prove they indeed repaired my car THEY HAVE NONE! No pictures nothing to show any work was done. when I asked the manager why none was taking he said because they dont take pics like other shop he just looks at the car and based on him looking is the proof work was done. Now how crazy is that!! Do not go they take your money dont fix your car and laugh in your face as if return customers are not the goal at West Lake. They got me I am warning others they will provide no proof other than their word work was done or repaired you will have to throw the dice n take their word, wish I had known they can lie about repairs.

Had a replacement on my Subaru Forrester radiator done 2010 and they were such professional professionals. The work was immaculate of the price was not inexpensive, but they did so much more than the other four competitors that I did to price match with so they did the best work they were just incredibly accommodating and they even picked me up and brought me to my car because I didn’t have a ride. I would highly recommend this Shop. They’re just wonderful people. I believe it’s family owned and you can tell they’re just super professional and extremely nice On a scale of one to 10 I give them an 11

Can't recommend them enough. I was moving across country from Georgia and my van died just before Port Arthur. I had 90 miles of free towing from AAA and I did a radius; luckily it swung around East Houston and West Lake Automotive. They took my call at 4pm on Saturday and let me know that I could drop my vehicle off after hours. However, I still had to arrive at my destination in a couple days, not the shortest drive from Houston. Not only did they keep me informed about the work, turned out to be a failed fuel pump, and fix it, they were patient with me and kept my van there until I could come back out 2 weeks later to get it back. Anecdote of one, but I'd go back to them if I didn't live 150 miles away.
